Safari Tour With Guaranteed Departures
This package titled 8 Days Classic Kenya Safari will take you through 7 nights and 8 days of experiencing Kenya in an unforgettable way. Kenya is quite a famous place for its savannah safaris and its beautiful beaches. It is a country that offers you an experience that extends from the peak of Mt. Kenya to its endless beaches of Mombasa. From deserts to snows and forests to open plains, the contrasts are going to leave you awestruck. In the metropolis of Nairobi and its colorful tribal cultures, there is a lot to see. When it comes to tourism, Kenya is often underestimated.
To check in for your trip to Nairobi, make your own way to the international airport serving as your gateway. Enjoy the onboard food and amenities.
Flight During the Night
Greetings from Kenya! You will be welcomed and driven to your accommodation after landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. If you arrive early in the morning, you can attend one of the optional trips or spend the remainder of the day at your leisure.
Nairobi overnight
Optional: Daphne Sheldrick's Excursion to the Elephant Orphanage
For breakfast, travelers will be transferred to the Eka Hotel on their own dime. They will then carry on with their journey. Leave for the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, which is near Nairobi (approximately a 45-minute drive). Daphne Sheldrick oversees this Sanctuary, which is located on her property. You may observe the orphaned animals here and get to know the individuals who look after and handle them.
The orphanage staff is always happy to answer any questions tourists may have about this intriguing excursion. Return to the hotel or the city center when finished, at 12:45 PM (lunch will not be included). It is advised that visits be scheduled in advance owing to demand. There might be instances when there are no animals in care. Visitation hours are between 11:00 AM and
12:00 PM daily and are roughly one hour long.
Optional: A half-day excursion to Africa
Before continuing with the journey, clients will be taken to the Eka Hotel for breakfast at their own expense. As you make your way to the Ngong Hills, keep Karen Blixen's footsteps in mind.
As soon as you arrive, you'll feel transported to the Out of Africa set. The old colonial farmhouse is unadorned and contains a few things that Karen Blixen herself chose and formerly possessed. Also worth seeing are the vibrant gardens, where numerous outdated coffee makers have lain dormant for years. From here, you can travel to the Giraffe Center, where a Rothschild
giraffe that is seriously endangered lives in peace. This tour is a fantastic choice for kids because it offers an elevated view of the feeding platform.
After breakfast, you will depart Nairobi and journey into Kenya's verdant highlands, following the route that Italian prisoners of war constructed during World War II as you descend the rift escarpment. You might see the picturesque church built at the base of the escarpment on the route. As you cross the valley to Narok, pass the spectacular Longonot earth satellite station. Before you arrive at the Masai Mara in time for lunch, continue traveling through acres of wheat and barley. After lunch, start your first game drive. As the sun is setting, return to the lodge.
Masai Mara National Reserve Area overnight
Start your morning game drive after a leisurely breakfast. Mid-morning will find you back at the camp. With a "Bush Breakfast" along the Mara River Hippo Pools, you may top off your game-viewing adventure in the Mara. The chefs and Masai warriors' endearing "Jambo" as they
welcome you to a superb breakfast buffet of cold cuts, fruits, cereals, and hot entrees with eggs cooked to your specifications is impossible to resist. When you've had enough of them, the hippos will just utter "Kwaheri" (goodbye). Set off on another game drive and explore the Masai
Village following lunch and perhaps a snooze. As the sun is setting, return to the lodge.
Masai Mara National Reserve Area overnight
After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and travel through Kenya's "breadbasket," through miles of fields of wheat and barley, as you make your way to Narok, the district capital of this region of Maasailand. As you ascend the Mai-Mahiu from there, keep an eye out for herds of giraffes and gazelles as you cross the huge plains that make up the Rift Valley. You will arrive at your destination around noon. After entering the park, follow the game trails to the lodge. After lunch, go on a wildlife drive before returning to your lodge as the sun is setting. The National Park, which is well-known for its birdlife, provides a chance to see flamingos. Along with the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, it is also home to Black and White rhinos.
A night in the Lake Nakuru region
Continue to Lake Naivasha for a boat excursion after an early-morning breakfast. Continue out of the Rift Valley and travel to Nairobi for an early lunch (or picnic lunch dependent on road conditions). You will next travel southward in the direction of Amboseli, arriving at your resort by late afternoon.
Amboseli National Park area overnight
You'll leave today for a full-day game drive that includes a picnic lunch stop. In the late afternoon, you will return to the resort, where you can relax in your room or spend some time by the pool before dinner.
Amboseli National Park area overnight
Catch your final glimpses of the beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro as you leave Amboseli after an early breakfast. Turn north from here across the stunning, apparently endless Athi Plains. By noon, arrive in Nairobi, the thriving metropolis of Kenya. You will be dropped off in the city either
at the airport for further travel or at the drop-off location in the city center.
From here, you can travel to the Giraffe
Center, where a Rothschild giraffe that is seriously endangered lives in peace. This tour is a fantastic choice for kids because it offers an elevated view of the feeding platform.
Shopping excursions to UTAMADUNI and the KAZURI Bead Factory are optional.
The Karen Blixen Museum, the Giraffe Center, the Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage, the Nairobi National Park, and Kazuri Beads are all nearby. Utamaduni, which means culture, tradition, and folklore, is also a popular tourist destination. It includes the finest examples of
African craftsmanship and is committed to helping artisans across Kenya.
The KSPCA and Street Boys are only two of the charity it sponsors (who have their own shop in the center). A little eatery is located nearby where one can grab a quick bite. Visit the Kazuri bead factory later if you're interested in purchasing high-end handcrafted and hand-painted
ceramic jewellery and pottery. The purpose of the workshop is to employ and educate underprivileged women in order to give them more authority. Please be aware that this trip is not offered on Sundays or federal holidays.
OPTIONAL: EAT AT THE CARNIVORE RESTAURANT FOR LUNCH OR DINNER
One of the best dining experiences in Africa is at the Carnivore Restaurant, which is renowned for its juicy steaks, barbecue specialties, and warm African friendliness.
This place is ideal for welcome or departure meals and would make a wonderful addition to any vacation. There will also be delicious vegetarian skewers and barbecued dinners.
