Spend the day touring Banff National Park. You may stop for tea at the Fairmont Hot Springs or go on an outing to some of the glacier lakes along the Bow River Parkway, like Moraine and Peyto Lakes. The most well-known of these is Lake Louise, which is renowned for its gorgeous Chateau and glistening turquoise waters.

The tranquil lakes and soft meadows of Jasper National Park are in sharp contrast to the park's rugged peaks and magnificent glaciers. For a chance to see bears and deer, go for a trek in the early morning on one of the many paths. It is breathtaking to go north along the Canadian Rockies' eastern flank. You can stop for a picnic, tour the lakes, ride a gondola, or visit the glaciers during the day. Stop for a minute at the magnificent Columbia Icefield. You could even feel inspired to take a memorable "snow coach" journey on the glacier's surface.
Jasper, spend the night.
Later today, you'll depart from Jasper and continue your exploration of the surrounding area by engaging in activities like white-water rafting, horseback riding, canoeing, or visiting Maligne Canyon. After that, go down the picturesque Yellowhead Highway to see panoramic vistas of Mount Terry Fox and Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies that is frequently shrouded in mist. For a flavor of frontier life, don't miss a trip to the Yellowhead Museum in Clearwater. Clearwater overnight.
You have a trip to Vancouver planned for today; you can take the shorter way or take the scenic Thompson and Fraser River route to see Hells Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Aerial tram rides, salmon fisheries tours, and gold panning are all available here. Enjoy an evening in Vancouver while sampling some of this multicultural city's gastronomic treats.
