Bula and welcome to Fiji! With over 300 different islands, Fiji is the dream location when it comes to tropical getaways! Spend the next 8 days relaxing as you explore the mainland, enjoying its crystal clear aquamarine water, white sandy beaches, amazing sunsets, and beautiful islands. You will visit quiet Rakiraki, bustling capital city Suva, and gorgeous Coral Coast to name a few, with exciting activities along the way that will immerse you in Fijian culture.

  • Relax on the beautiful white sand beaches of Fiji’s Coral Coast; hike up the Sigatoka Sand Dunes, which were formed by natural erosion; visit the Taveuni Hill Fort to learn about Tongan history and the banished prince, and go on a magnificent safari cruise on the Sigatoka River.

DAY 3: FRI NADI, FIJI ARRIVAL – TRANSFER TO HOTEL ON THE CORAL COAST

Fiji welcomes you! You will be welcomed by a representative at the Nadi International Airport and transferred to your hotel to check in. The remainder of the day is yours to do as you like.

A HALF-DAY TOUR OF NADI IS AVAILABLE AS AN OPTION.

This guided tour of traditional villages, botanical gardens, craft markets, and even a towering Hindu temple outside of Nadi will show you some of Fiji's most distinctive and fascinating locales. Drive through rolling sugarcane fields and small settlements to the historic town of Viseisei, the famous landing place of the first Melanesian settlers in Fiji.
A traditional ceremonial bureau house and a small craft market can be seen in Veiseisei. After seeing the hamlet, head to the Sleeping Giant Orchid Gardens, a sprawling botanical garden with over 2,000 orchid kinds. While admiring the exquisite flowers on exhibit, stroll beneath canopied boardwalks, pass by lengths of groomed lawns, and duck under branches in the rainforest. The Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple is the next stop. This elaborate and colorful monument is the largest Hindu temple in the southern hemisphere and is a notable example of Dravidian architecture. After that, you'll travel to Nadi, where you'll have free time to browse for Fijian souvenirs in the market before returning to your hotel

A HALF-DAY CORAL COAST HERITAGE TOUR IS AVAILABLE AS AN OPTION.

Join your guide for a tour of the famous Sigatoka Sand Dunes, a National Archaeological Heritage Site where your 30-minute hike up the dunes will begin. The ancient Lapita people, who inhabited here millennia ago, have left remnants. After that, it'll be time to travel to Nakabuta, a traditional village. Fijian women will showcase traditional pottery-making techniques at Nakubuta.
This art has seen a renaissance as of late, and you will discover Nakabuta-made bowls, plates, and other items in handicraft shops all over town. You will also be treated to cultural shows and a traditional welcome Kava ceremony. You will be given the chance to shop for local souvenirs before heading to Taveuni Hill Fort, known for its Tongan history where the banished Tongan Prince, Maile Latemai, arrived with his people to settle in and defend Tavuini Hill Fort. His descendants now reside in the villages of Naroro, Korotogo, and Malevu nearby. Your next stop will be in the town of Sigatoka, the perfect place for local shopping. The tour ends with a drop-off back at your hotel.

DAY 5: SUN FIJI, CORAL COAST (B/-/-)

SLEEPING GIANT ZIPLINE WITH LUNCH IS AN OPTION.

This zipline course is genuinely world-class; it will take you on a tour of ten ziplines covering over 1.3 kilometres through Fiji's pristine tropical rainforest and waterfalls, with some zips measuring up to 160 metres, and you will be able to fly at speeds of up to 60 kilometres per hour. Freshly cooked sandwiches, salads, and a fruit drink will be offered as part of a deli-style meal. For an additional fee, alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the sky bar.
The tour begins in Nadi and ends in Nadi.

OPTIONAL: DISCOVER FIJI - FIJI'S JEWEL

Your adventure will begin with a trip down the Navua River, where you will pass through communities, farmlands, magnificent tropical rainforests, gorges, and even waterfalls, with plenty of opportunities to encounter local species. A Fijian Warrior will then lead you to the Village Meeting House, where you will learn about ancient customs and take part in a traditional Welcome Yaqona (Kava) Ceremony. There will be performances on exhibit, as well as a Lovo Lunch for you to enjoy. The guides will next take you to the Navua River's largest waterfall, which includes a refreshing pool with swimming options.
Finally, your guide will take you on a journey aboard the HMS Bilinili to show you how their forefathers moved down the river before there were roads or motors.
The tour begins in Nadi and ends in Nadi.

DAY 6: MON FIJI, CORAL COAST (B/-/-)

SIGATOKA RIVER SAFARI (OPTIONAL)

With safari transfers and a guide, depart Sigatoka town. The driver or guide will continue to describe the history of the area and the locals along the valley road until tourists arrive at the Sigatoka River safari dock.
Travel up the Sigatoka River with jet boat pilots and commentary stops until you reach the designated/host village, where visitors will be treated to a Sevusevu or traditional Fijian kava ritual, a taste of kava, and the opportunity to meet the village chief and other elders. After that, there will be lunch and entertainment. Guests are welcome to walk down to the river and begin their trek back home. After that, you'll leave the Sigatoka River safari headquarters and travel to town for a little break and some shopping.
Coral Coast is the starting point for the tour.
Included is a complimentary transfer from Nadi and the Coral Coast Hotels.

OFF-ROAD CAVE SAFARI IS AN OPTION.

With this Safari Tour, take the path less traveled on your ATV and see the grandeur of Fiji's interior! As you go inside the Naihehe Cave with your guide, you will learn about Fiji's largest cave system. You'll learn to navigate the huge Sigatoka River and arrive at the Bete, or High Priest's residence, in no time. It is recommended that you bring a change of clothes because there will be a beautiful freshwater swimming hole within the cave system that you will be unable to resist!
The tour begins on the Coral Coast.
Included is a complimentary transfer from Nadi and the Coral Coast Hotels.

DAY 7: TUE FIJI, CORAL COAST (B/-/-)

OPTIONAL: BEACH CLUB MALA MALA CRUISE FOR THE DAY

Discover the white-sand beaches, beachside cabanas, resort-style infinity-edge pool, and stunning views across the Mamanucas from Fiji's best-located island with a day pass to the beach club. The Malamala Beach Club offers a delectable a-la-carte menu ranging from light snacks to pacific-inspired dinners, sharing platters, and hand-crafted cocktails (Meals and Drinks must be paid for in the Club Restaurant), as well as a club-like environment with laid-back melodies, played all day.

BEACHCOMBER ISLAND DAY CRUISE (OPTIONAL)

Beachcomber is one of Fiji's most popular vacation spots, and it's only a 45-minute boat ride from the Denarau Marina. This is the ideal location for a day in paradise! This island paradise, located in a serene Marine Sanctuary in the stunning Mamanuca Islands, has plenty to offer, from Fijian craft courses to coral viewing in a glass-bottom boat, where you could get the chance to feed the fish and sea turtles. Watersports such as parasailing, jet skiing, banana boat rides, diving, and even hand-line fishing will be accessible. Spend the day lounging in this beautiful region while sipping an Island Cocktail (at your own expense) at Beachcomber's unique Barefoot Bar. A buffet lunch, as well as morning and afternoon tea, will be provided throughout this excursion.
The tour departs from the Port Denarau Marina on a daily basis.

OPTIONAL: SNORKEL WITH SHARKS ON BAREFOOT KUATA ISLAND

You'll be taken to the Denarau Marina to board the 'Yasawa Flyer.' This new high-speed catamaran features two wide observation decks, an air-conditioned lounge, and even an espresso coffee bar. Disembark on Kuata Island, a postcard-perfect beach with clear blue waves and unique rock formations.
You'll board a boat with your guides and head to the "snorkeling with sharks" coral site after receiving a briefing on the Kuata Island beachfront. Enjoy a two-course meal on the island, as well as morning and afternoon tea. Kayaking and walking trails are among the other activities available.
Every day, a tour departs from the Marina at Port Denarau.

Check out of your hotel after a great breakfast. You will be returned to Nadi Airport for your return journey.
