DAY 2: MUNICH ARRIVAL – PASSAU (EMBARKATION) (-/-/D)

Greetings from Munich! Arrive at the Munich International Airport, then travel independently to the Passau port. You will settle into your stateroom and check in for your cruise there. At 4:00 PM, check-in opens. Enjoy a welcome buffet, cocktail, special dinner, and an evening of music in the lounge this evening. Nighttime aboard

DAY 3: DURNSTEIN (B/L/D)

You will visit the quaint Danube River town of Durnstein today. In Austria, this area is renowned for producing fine wines. You may anticipate a supper with a pirate theme and a musical evening in the lounge tonight. Nighttime aboard

DAY 4: VIENNA (B/L/D)

The tour will start off by bus as you travel toward the well-known Vienna Ring. Then, on foot, we will explore more of the city, beginning at the well-known Albertina Museum. You'll arrive in Budapest this morning. Explore this magnificent capital city along the Danube River in the afternoon. This city's Danube Riverbanks, Andrassy Avenue, Buda Castle District, Heroes' Square, and Millennium Underground Railway are all included on the list of World Heritage Sites. There is something for everyone to enjoy in this amazing metropolis, which has 80 geothermal hot springs, the second-largest Synagogue in the world, and the third-largest Parliament building in the world. From Michael's Gate, you can take a leisurely stroll past the Primatial Palace, St. Martin's Cathedral, and the old city district. The Academia Istropolitana, which dates to the 15th century, is the city's first university. This afternoon, take a Danube cruise, and in the evening, take pleasure in the captain's gala dinner. The monastery erected high above the town in the eleventh century is also referred to as Melk Abbey. The enormous library here has medieval manuscripts, and the domed Abbey Church is decorated with gold statues. You may anticipate a supper with a pirate theme and a musical evening in the lounge tonight. A night on board with the option of seeing Melk Abbey. The town of Melk has served as Austria's spiritual and cultural hub for more than 1000 years. It is situated in the stunning "Wachau Valley," which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Benedictine monastery known as Melk Abbey, which is also one of Austria's greatest cultural attractions and Europe's largest Abbey, is well renowned for its stunning baroque style. Since the 12th century, a school connected to the monastery has been collecting priceless manuscripts, helping to build the magnificent library you will view inside the Abbey chambers.
