Start your day with a visit to the Zaanse Schans neighbourhood, where you can witness ancient windmills and recognisable green wooden buildings that will make you feel as though you are in a 17th-century neighbourhood. You will also go to Volendam, a charming fishing village from which you will board a boat to Marken, a well-liked vacation island with beautiful scenery, a fascinating past, and a car-free central area. On your return trip to Amsterdam in the late afternoon, take an audio-guided tour to view the city's intricate canals, the Dam Platz, and government buildings. You may also take part in a class to learn how to cut diamonds. You can't go more than a kilometre in Amsterdam without coming across a work of art.
